2.  In this plant, under these circumstances, why would a choice be made to run the product witout filters?  What were the dynamics contributing to such a choice?  [Note: there is more to it than simply the absence of management.]
 
 

3.  If you were George, what would you do?  What would be the likely consequences?
 
 

4.  How important are George's personal ethics in influencing his judgement and actions in this case?
 
 

5.  Beyond this particular incident, what could management do to prevent the occurrence of workers making unethical choices in similar situations?
