The
research skills I learned in English
12 are invaluable. I do not know
how I would have learned them otherwise. Having been
exempted out of English 11, thanks to
the SATs, I missed out on the opportunity to
learn how to use the Infotrac search banks
and the library's facilities early in first
semester. As it turns out, the research tools I have
discovered will be very useful in future courses
as well.
This semester, Infotrac
and the libraries,
a research facility I had as yet left untapped (don't ask
me why), were the backbones of my anthropology papers' Works
Cited.
(Davis
Library has a ton of information…
on everything from tribal societies in Zimbabwe to
differences in gender education of first graders in America… and
much more!)
