Below are just some of the tools I have found and are available online, which may be useful to web developers and administrators out there.
    Text Banner Creator

    If you lack the time and the patience to mess with Photoshop,
    Outside website Linkfontology.quasidea.com has a great little online tool for creating simple text banners using different fonts and styles. The banner above was created using it.

    Joomla CMT

    Do you need to create a website where lots of people will be editing the content? Do you want to keep your content editors from changing the website look and navigation? Do you want a website where you can easily add calendar views, blogs, etc. with a few clicks of the mouse? Well the solution you are looking for is probably Joomla.     Owl - Document Management System

    This is a great OpenSource DMS in my opinion, but I have heard many complaints about the default template when you first install it.
    Download an alternative template which is just a tweaked version of the 'linkpoint' template that comes with Owl.
