Ted Morée
Ted is a graphic designer and video artist. He'll be graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2007.
He will be getting his BA in Communication Studies,
specifically within the Media Studies and Production area of study.
He is planning to relocate to the Seattle, WA area in late June or early July of 2007, and is currently seeking design employment there.
Work Data
I've been doing a graphic design internship with the
Carolina Union Marketing and Design department for the
2006-2007 school year.
I've also been working part time for Carolina Union Production Services this year. I was doing
miscellaneous stagehand work for Tech Staff in Fall 2006. Within the new organizational structure,
I've been working on the Audio Crew since January.
In the Summer of 2006, I did trail work with the US Forest Service in Virginia. I was working in the
Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Districts of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests in an
internship through the Student Conservation Association. SCA is an AmeriCorps recognized program, and I received an
AmeriCorps Education Award for my work.
I worked in a print shop during the Summer of 2005. Working at Make An Impression, located in Holly Springs, NC, gave me valuable insight into what the print, bindery, and shipping end of design production looks like.
