Hi! My name is Kelly and I am a junior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This webpage was done as a project for my JOMC 50 class. Even though it was done as an assignment, I hope you enjoy it!

First, a little bit about myself. I am a Journalism major, hoping to go into advertising, and a History minor. I am 20 years old and went a whole 20 minutes away from home, the oh so big town of Mebane, to go to UNC-CH. This summer I just moved into my first townhouse with the craziest 5 girls possible. From karaoke queens to drama queens there is never a dull moment in the townhouse. Now, finally, the roomies and I have a place of our own where we, along with all of our friends, can hang out. All of the roomies in the house bring their own bit of craziness, but hey, that is what makes me love them all so much!

It is always easy to find info using Google. I use it when I am looking up stuff for fun or for classes.

When I am bored or like to procrastinate I like to read magazines. Most of the time I go online to read Glamour if I haven't had a chance to buy it yet.

Another magazine that I can read online.

I use Blue Mountain Greeting Cards all the time. With having friends at so many different colleges, it is so much easier to send a card through an email than to mail one. Plus these cards a good way to brighten someone's day a little.

Cosmo---Probably my favorite magazine. Cosmo is always entertaining and most of the time some of the things that are written in it are so out there it will have me and my friends laughing on the floor.
