so this is my own little world, and I'll do whatever I like to it, thankyouverymuch.

So I have a fairly consistent pattern of mad updates for a few weeks and then falling off to do nothing new for a few months. I'm sorry for being so sporadic, but things come up or I get bored with whatever is occupying me and don't want to write about it any more than absolutely necessary... whatever. regardless, hopefully a new inspiration will rain down upon me soon.

Work has got me running around too much, which is good in some ways and bad in others. I'm not to horridly bored, but it ain't exactly thrilling either. keeps me from putting cool stuff up here, regardless. anyway, I wanted to post up the best scootering article I'd read in a while... make that ever. it's about the club that runs the rally during Daytona Bike Week, which is usually chock full of harley riders and weekend warrior-types, but there's a proud-n-strongscooters, gallery, design, e'eryting! contingent of scooterist who show too. here's the bit. there was also an article about our scooter rally in the local independent weekly; the reporter did an alright job, although she spent some time on things that really didn't need to be covered, and ignored other stuff instead. anyway.

Series 1 finally has a sign, and has been up and running for awhile. the first photography show went up almost a month ago, and another will go up sometime around the end of march. in the meantime, there are 4 scoots for sale, waiting to find loving homes. we've had lots of tire-kickers coming in, and the people who had them 40-odd years ago, but no one has invested yet. soon, though, soon. in the meantime, I go there every saturday to work my retail charm. gives me something to do, I suppose. and I got a new email addy with that as my domain, just for fun. la-ti-da!

different minor news: I want a dog. specifically, I want an Italian Greyhound, which strikes me as some sort of perfect, intelligent combination of a cat and a dog. all your loving in one little 12" package! of course I can't have a pet in my current apartment, so I'll have to wait until this summer when I'll probably be forced to find a new place anyway. in the meantime though, I keep picking out cute ones and hoping they get adopted by someone worthy. it's a little torturous, but enjoyable nevertheless.
