    Provides links to committees, Statutes, Study Reports, texts of bills in current legislative session, etc.
  • Daily Bulletin Archives
    For 1987 through 2002, this website permits lookup of all bills introduced in the NC General Assembly, and for each provides a digest of the original bill and summaries of changes which followed. Lookup requires knowledge of session and bill numbers; however, the page contains a link to the NC General Assembly homepage, which provides bill text searching to identify session and bill number.

    For state level legal resources, click on Legal Research, then click on the type of resource sought (such as State Codes), then click on the state of interest. Full text.

    In Guided News Search, click on category (such as General News) and source (such as Major Papers). Note that searching in a particular state or region is possible in category for U. S. News. Full text.
  • New York Times Historical Newspaper
    "The New York Times, in the ProQuest Historical Newspapers database, offers 3,400,000 pages of full-text and full-image newspaper articles covering the entire publishing history of the newspaper, from 1851 to 2001. Researchers can use the images to find not only news, editorials, letters to the editor, obituaries, and birth and marriage announcements, but also historical photos, stock photos, and advertisements."
