My
Five Favorite Web Sites
|
|
|
Since
I am a poor college student and I have to pinch pennies, I check my account
status as least once a day at www.wachovia.com Thank goodness for online
banking. |
|
|
Especially
since the United States launched war with Iraq, I have been using cnn.com several times a day to get updates on what is going on in the world.
I have begun to take for granted the ease with which we can access up-to-date
information,
and
I find
myself
getting impatient when information isn't available at lightning speed. |
|
|
I
use google.com for any and all web
searches. I usually don't even need to use another search engine to find
information because
Google always comes through. |
|
|
Without
sprintpcs.com, my monthly cell phone bills would be sky-high. This web site
allows you to change your cellular plan,
check how many minutes you have left and pay your balance. Just another
added convenience of the World Wide Web. |

Because
I am such a good journalism student and current events are my life,
I use newsobserver.com, in
addition to CNN.com, to stay on top of the news. I like this web site
because it has all the same copy that is found in
The News & Observer's print version. So basically, I get the news
without paying
for it. |
