Joint Program: American Ethnological Society and Society for the Anthropology of North America in Atlanta

The organizers of SANA 2004 and AES 2004 in Atlanta are working together to have a seamlessly integrated joint AES/SANA Annual Meeting in Atlanta from April 22 – 25.  SANA and AES members who have registered for their own association’s meeting will be able to freely cross-attend and participate in each other’s Annual Meetings.

The formal AES Program of sessions will commence at the Atlanta Hilton with Registration opening from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, with AES panels starting at 8 a.m. on Friday morning, April 23 and running all day, and continuing through all day Saturday.    The formal SANA Program will begin at 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at the Atlanta Marquis Marriot Hotel, and will run until 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 25.

 SANA members will be able to register at AES Registration at the Atlanta Hilton on Thursday evening and Friday during the day.   At Friday 4 - 9 p.m., April 23, SANA Registration will switch to the Atlanta Marquis Marriot Hotel, and will continue on Saturday 7 - 12 noon p.m., April 24, at the Marriot.

Remember: If you arrive at SANA/AES 2004 before 6 p.m. on Friday, April 22, please register at the AES/SANA Registration desk at the Atlanta Hilton.  If you arrive after 4 p.m. on Friday, April 23, please register at the SANA Registration desk at the Atlanta Marquis Marriot.
