Anti-Itch Oil

Anti-Itch Oil

5 drops Lavender essential oil
3 drops Roman Chamomile essential oil
1 drop Geranium essential oil
3 drops Rose essential oil

Add the above oils to 4 teaspoons carrier oil. Use externally to relieve skin irritation and itching.



Herbal Insect Repellent

8 drops Cedarwood essenstial oil
5 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
4 drops Lavender essential oil
2 drops Neroli essential oil
2 drops Lemon essential oil
1 drop Peppermint essential oil
1 drop Cinnamon essential oil
1 drop Clove essential oil

For a refreshing change from the scent of citronella,
try the above mixed into two ounces of carrier oil.
AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES.



Herbal Moth Bags

Use equal parts of Rosemary, Tansy, Thyme, Mint, Southernwood and a pinch of ground Cloves. Sew into small cloth bags, and store among your clothes.



Moth Sachets

Mix together the following dried herbs:
2 Tablespoons Mint
2 Tablespoons Mugwort
2 Tablespoons Thyme
2 Tablespoons Sage
2 Tablespoons Sweet Marjoram
2 Tablespoons Rosemary

Place 2 Tablespoons of the mixture into small muslin bags you have made. Sew up top. Trim with lace and ribbons, add loop to hang on clothes hanger,
or place in drawers to repel moths.



Rose Water

2 cups of distilled water
1/4 cup vodka
1/2 cup fresh Rose petals
5-10 drops Rose essential oil, if extra scent is needed

Combine water, vodka and rose petals in a covered jar.
Place in sunlight in the morning, by evening the colors
and oils from the petals will be extracted. Strain the
liquid from petals, using to add fragrance to bath
water or use as an after bath splash.
