My general research interests revolve around the relationship between visual salience and visual orienting. The focus of my dissertation highlights the roles of the magnocellular and parvocellular systems in reflexive orienting. Our lab employs behavioral (reaction time, accuracy, and eye tracking) and noninvasive physiological methods (ERPs, fMRI) to investigate mechanisms of visual attention.
