The first seven of these synopses were written for the 1997-2001 seasons of the Central Coast Shakespeare Festival in San Luis Obispo, California. Please be charitable and attribute the occasional density of the prose to space constraints. The Twelfth Night piece was written for December 1994 performances by a Cal Poly State University graduate Shakespeare class, the "English 510 Players," under the direction of Dr. Steven Marx. The author portrayed Polixenes, but it was his work as "the Bear" that was hailed by all the major theater critics in San Luis Obispo. [View clips.]
