| Hi, my name is Becky, and I'd like to welcome you to my Web site, which I created for my JOMC 50 class. Here's a little background on me...I'm a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus in news-editorial writing. The quote on my home page sums up the last few years of my life...I took the scenic route to get to Chapel Hill. I spent my first year and a half of college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. And the semester before I came to Carolina was spent studying abroad at the University of Wales in Swansea, Wales. Although both previous universities were wonderful and unforgettable experiences, I'm glad to be finishing up my final undergraduate years at Carolina. As for the future, who knows? My favorite pastime is traveling, so hopefully I'll find a wonderful career where I can get paid to travel around and tell people about the places I visit.
