1.

2.  Design decisions:

-Use of cascading style sheets in order to keep a unified appearance to all pages in the site

            - Javascript menu that remains at the very top of the page at all times ensures any point in the website is easily accessed from anywhere else in the site.

            -  The color scheme used was chosen because it is easy to see when contrasted with the space background.

3.  Tools:

The majority of the site was designed using Dreamweaver MX.  Some portions had to be hand coded in order to make the javascript or stylesheets interact properly.  All images were edited using MS Paint and Fireworks MX.  The bobbling head and walking on water photo were hand made with a digital camera and Fireworks MX.

  1. The target of this website is basically me or my friends.  Mainly, I wanted a place where I could post stuff I find amusing, or somewhere I could post things that I am working on so I can easily get to it at any time from remote locations.  Also, anyone who wants to know a little more about me and my twisted sense of humor might want to check my site out.

  1. Problems:

      - The javascript menu I pulled off DynamicDrive.com was a bit buggy and wouldn’t adhere to the top of the page…plus it sometimes did funny stuff when          you tried to access certain links.  I rewrote parts of it so it would work properly.  Unfortunately, it still doesn’t quite work the way it should in Netscape         4.7…however,             I plan on rewriting the whole thing eventually so it will work everywhere

      - Making the bobbling head…I had to figure out how to make the back of the image transparent so that the head wasn’t surrounded by a black box….this was done with Fireworks.

6.  Strengths – I feel the site is very well balanced and unified.  When I start to fill it out in the future it will look really neat and be very interesting.  Weakness – the javascript is a bit buggy (which I will fix when I have time) and as of right now the site is a bit bare.
