For years, listings of U.S. lighthouses have included the Manhattan Range Rear Light in Toledo, Ohio. I'm indebted to Jon Clay for pointing out that actually there are two surviving range lights in Toledo, including one located at the Lighthouse Café on the Maumee River at 2506 Broadway Street. Thanks also to Ray Saif for confirming that this second tower is in fact the Manhattan Range Front Light. Here are Jon's photos of both towers.

This is the Manhattan Range Front Light, now located at the Six Pack Bar and Grill, 2605 Broadway Street, Toledo, on the banks of the Maumee River several miles south of the rear light at Hansen Industries. |
