Fettabsaugung
One of my dearest friends in the world is someone I became friends with in high school. Actually she was a foreign exchange student from Germany, and although she could speak and write in English, she always tried to keep me on my toes by talking to me in German. It was always a lot of fun when we would go to the stores together or out to eat, we would both talk in German and then would listen to what people would say about us in English, when they thought that we couldn't understand them. Well, it has been a while since we spoke and today I finally received a letter from her, with a picture and she surely looked amazing in this picture and she was with this really gorgeous guy. The letter said in German:
My dearest friend Marie,
I just received your letter about you and Bruce. I was so excited to hear about your pending engagement. I hope that you will see fit to send me an invitation when it is time. I wouldn't miss it for the world.
Hier einige meiner privaten Neuigkeiten.
Your friend forever,
Katharina
Well, needless to say I was shocked to find out that she had had the breast work done, but I was really glad to hear that not only is she happy, but that we would see each other again soon. I really miss Katharina.

cash advance
My mother has always warned me against taking a cash advance, but last month I was short for paying my rent and decided to give it a try. I know that taking a payday advance is a loan that is taken at a very high interest rate, but I really just felt that I didn't really have a choice. Sure, I could have called my mommy to send me a check advance and save myself some interest, but I am really trying to prove to her and to myself that I can make my own way in this world and if I can't take care of the little things myself then what good is it really. I mean I kind of wish that I hadn't taken this loan, because each payday now I have to go in and pay it off and then take it out all over again. I really can't afford this, but I have paid off about $50.00 of it so far and I do intend to pay it all off when my student loans come in. I just can't really believe how difficult it is to get out of this loan. I really thought I would just pay the whole thing back out of my next paycheck and it would be a done deal. But there are always more expenses and if I would have done it that way, I would have been left with no money for the next week, and I knew that wouldn't work. That is when I came up with the idea to pay it down a little at a time. This cuts down the interest a little more each time as well, so it seems like a better idea then keeping it the same week after week, plus I really don't feel the pinch paying it back $25.00 at a time. It is working, but it is a long process. Each week I go in there I watch and see the other people and how they are handling this. What I have noticed is that I am not the only one who pays it back and takes it out again. As a matter of fact that seems to be what the majority of people are doing, so much so that the staff just hands everyone the new paperwork once they pay off the old loan. I think I have only seen 2 people pay it off and not retake it. I guess this is the way these companies make their money.

auto insurance quotes
My grandfather has always been a huge influence on my life. Whenever I am asked to look at my own personality and at the ways in which I have built my life it is quite obvious that he was my greatest resource for personal development. My interests. Though quite different, are as malleable as his ever were and we both share a common quickness when it comes to changes in our own lives and the situations that we face individually, within the family, and as citizens of this society. Though my life is quite busy at this point with all of the school obligations and financial needs that I must meet in order to gain my eventual independence from my nuclear family, I am always more than willing to take a break for him. To enjoy what I hope is not one of the last few days I have to spend with the ninety-five years young grandfather that remains with me, I am willing to put strain on my own situation and think of what he can give to me.
One of my grandfather's biggest interests from his life has been his love of the antique cars. Though these cars would have been considered new when he was a kid, he still loves to take them to shows and I imagine to relish in the memories he has had from those times. This summer that is what we have been doing. He asked me to help him get his new car ready for the August shows and I have been dealing with all of the paperwork and he just handles the money issues. So far I have had to secure the antique car insurance, after almost nearly buying commercial vehicle insurance, and to make sure that his mechanic remains interested and on top of the project. That was actually the most stress I have felt this whole time because I got confused about a couple of the auto insurance quotes. Luckily I caught it in time before blowing like six hundred dollars of my grandfather's money. We do have a pretty loose timeline for the summer and I think the car should be finished before August even begins and then we can just ride to the show together in a day of nostalgia over his past.

promotional products
I was recently cleaning out my office desk the other day and had to tackle the painstaking task of sifting through all of my many pens to see if each deserved a place among its working pen compatriots on my desk. As I began writing swirl after swirl on a piece of scrap paper, I realized that many of these pens were simply promotional items that I had either been handed on a filthy train ride home or had kept as souvenirs from different establishments. A couple of pens proved to be representative of memories, such as the Deutsche Bank pen I had from the actual Deutsche Bank headquarters in New York. Another pen served as a reminder of one of the many contributions I had made to my job.
Our office was in a bind. We needed to increase our number of customers to replace ones that were leaving the practice. We wanted to get our name out there and give customers a lasting impression of our office (in a good way). We decided to hold a promotional day. But how would patients remember and ultimately refer us?
The theme of our promotional day was "New Patient Day", where we did nothing but new patient examinations. As coordinator of the event, I had to make sure we gave new patients an experience they weren't going to forget. I knew that the very homelike setting of the waiting room would garner some compliments, but I wanted more than just some compliments. I wanted patients to understand what they would be getting out of their experience at the office and why it is something they should want to share.
I had to hop online to find a website that would put our logo on some small gift items for free. I ran across a website called Ideas By Net, and it really interested me. I loved the wide selection of promotional products and the price range was very decent. But then I noticed something: the prices were all in UK currency! That's right: Ideas By Net is a UK based company. My feelings were rather hurt when I realized I couldn't order from this superb company, but I felt better when I saw the list of reliable websites in the US that I could refer to.
I settled on a few care package like items, like mugs and a T-shirt, and also included the very pen I was holding at that moment. The day ended up being a huge success, and my boss couldn't wait for the day to be over so that I could start planning the next promotional event. This little pen had not only earned more customer referrals for the practice but had also earned me a promotion.

promotional items
I know this sounds a bit ridiculous, but I don't mind paying a little bit more to send my kids to camp if they get a lot of freebees. By freebees what I am really talking about is promotional items, things that advertise for the camp and yet are still useful and functional. I have sent my kids to several camps and I just love the stuff they get. My one son went to 2 soccer camps last year, and at the first one he got a shirt, carry bag, and a mini soccer ball. At the second camp he got a full size soccer ball, 2 t-shirts, and a hip bag. Then my 2 children went to a week long camp and they got a DVD and t-shirts and water bottles, plus the crafts that they had worked on all week, including a few painted ceramic items. I know that they give out these things to get their information out, but some of the items are so cool that it almost, in my mind makes paying a little more for the camp more tolerable. This year at soccer camp, my son got a T-shirt, sports bottle, a poster and a pedometer. I can't help but be excited to see all the goodies when they return from camp.
I think that I enjoy it even more than they do because they don't have to pay for the camp, I do. I don't mind walking around advertising for people as long as the freebees are good. As a matter of fact I have collected over the years several promotional items that I have found very useful myself including pens, carry bags, jackets, T-shirts, water bottles, and umbrellas. I do confess that I do like to get something for nothing and I find it exciting when I get stuff for free. Pretty much I would advertise for anyone for free as long as I didn't feel that their business was ripping people off or scamming people, that is definitely where I would draw the line.
I just have one thing to say, if you are a company and are interested in getting your business some cheap word of mouth advertising, then be sure to keep those freebees coming, I assure you I am not the only one out there who will carry the umbrellas, travel mugs, and wear the t-shirts that support your business. We live in a world where very rarely can we get something for nothing, and I think that most people would be glad to use your promotional items for you.

SEO services
In trying to develop my own website I have found out some things the hard way that I would like to share with you. I have found out that truly don't even bother to set up a website until you have accumulated enough funds to pay for SEO Services. SEO stands for search engine optimization, and you absolutely must have one of these companies working for you. On-site factors such as meta tags, content optimization, URL structure, and internal linking formulas create a foundation for aggressive off-site link building strategies. You will need a team of professional SEO's to walk you through the basics of on-site optimization and ensure that your website is taking advantage of every possible on-site SEO benefit. Most of these companies not only provide you with SEO services but they also can assist you with PPC management services (pay per click management). PPC management is an important part in today's internet searches. Long gone are the days where you could just bid yourself to the top of a search engine's result page for any key word or words. These days, you must have a clear understanding of how the system works in order to get your site seen.
What this means for you is that if you ever want your online business to take off, then you absolutely must pay someone to do these services for you. You can no longer do this yourself. You can go online and create your own website and design your own pages, pretty simply. You can purchase your own domain name, no problem. You can not however, get your business off the ground if you don't get the exposure and the only way to do this is to have a company drive your website to number one.
I know you are probably thinking one of two things at this point. Either you are thinking that you can't afford to pay for these services or you are thinking, this guy is crazy I can set up my own website for $20.00 with one of these quicky services and it will get to the top eventually. Well, let me tell you this is money that you need to spend if you want your website to go anywhere and two if you do it yourself, you will find out like I did the value of having one of these companies working for you is priceless.

florists
I have often wondered why flowers are the perfect thing to send for any occasion. What else is appropriate for a funeral and a wedding? It seems to me that florists really have it made. There are so many different types of flowers and so many different ways to arrange them; it makes them perfect for any occasion. They are one thing that seems to never change. If you think about it, they don't go out of style and never become obsolete. How many professions have that kind of job security? Not many, I assure you. And while the dot com world has left many businesses packing it in, for the florists this is just an even better more innovative way to advertise their products. They can show people all the flowers and different arrangements that they offer, and the internet allows them more exposure than ever before. Say you are looking to send flowers to a friend in Florida from New York, well now using the internet you can find online florists in your friend's neighborhood and even get flowers delivered the same day. Most sites offer online payment methods that are fast, easy to use, and secure. I love to send flowers, especially to brighten someone's day. I know it sounds a little corny, but I think that there is nothing that makes a person feel more special than a surprise flower delivery. And these days, you can also send people live plants instead of the tradition cut flowers. These are great because they last a lot longer, and help the person remember how much you care. I especially like to send live plants to my grandmother as she really loves to care for them, and likes to look at them often. I like the plants that flower though, I think that they tend to brighten up an area and make it look festive and colorful. When someone doesn't have the opportunity to get out in the yard much, this indoor plant will give them a little taste of nature right in their home. Online florists often give you an assortment of festive helium balloons that have special messages on them and can be added to your order for a small fee. These personalize your arrangement and are especially nice when sending flowers or plants for a special occasion. They will also let you choose little gift item to add to your arrangement. Florists online tend to offer things like teddy bears, some with cute little message shirts and also a choice as far as pots and vases are concerned. When you are online shopping if you don't find exactly what you are looking for, just ask. I assure you most florists will be glad to mix and match items to send the perfect item to your special someone.

hotel tea
Most hotels have one thing in common - tiny bathrooms. They also happen to share a supply of rather lackluster tea and coffee offerings. The standard tea bags might suffice in a tea emergency, but you can't imagine rushing home to your tiny bathroom to curl up in the inferior armchair with a cup of boring tea. You want terrific tea every day, and you should have it whether you're on the road or not.
Forward Thinking Hotels
The hotels with forward thinking managers or marketers know that there is a much larger population of tea drinkers than one might think. And that population is growing. There are tiers of beverage service at hotels. The bottom tier provides hot coffee in the lobby that is reasonable. Tea bags sit neglected in a little basket by the hot water dispenser. The middle tier brings in designer coffees and a wider selection of teas, but nothing like the upper tiers who provide designer teas along with the coffee varieties.
Be Prepared
Unless you've traveled to a particular hotel in the past, you never know what you're going to find in the lobby or kitchenette. Even the most deluxe hotels might not be aware yet of how much a quality tea offering can appeal to a large portion of its guests. Never assume your tea needs will be taken care of. Throw a box of deluxe teabags into your carry on and you'll be able to brew up an easy cup of deluxe hotel tea whether you're two, three or four stars for the evening.
If you arrive in a hotel which offers a better tea selection than most, you should try any teas that appeal to you. While you might prefer your own variety and blend, travel is often a time of discovery. It could very well be that a particular hotel made an impressive discovery before you did. Only a taste will tell!

eco friendly products
It seems like everywhere you look now people are talking about eco friendly products. Magazines are being taken over by advertisement and this new movement. It's like it almost came out of nowhere. First it was hybrid cars, and then grocery stores were carrying more and more eco friendly products. In our local grocery store, they just built two more aisles dedicated to organic foods and more eco friendly cleaning products. The other day I was going to get new shampoo and conditioner for my hair and I saw new products that are more eco friendly. Just walking down the street you see people carrying cloth "go green" bags instead of the regular plastic or paper grocery bags. Or people wearing the "go green" t-shirts or bumper stickers on their cars. I feel like soon you will be frowned at if you are seen walking with a plastic bag.
It makes you wonder why people are starting this now. Why weren't people more eco friendly in the past? Is it just a phase? Or is this going to be a complete change and new lifestyle for everyone? What about the people who refuse to do their part? I used to think that everyone recycled, why you wouldn't, it's not hard. But sometimes on garbage day you don't see everyone with a recyclable can out next to their garbage. If we can't even get people to recycle still, and its 2008, how are we going to get them to change their everyday eating, bathing and shopping habits? And is it really worth it?
Here are a few things that are easy to change and are helpful to you personally.

debt
I walked into my apartment today and did the usual things: I dropped my coat over the back of a chair and threw my keys on the table. Today though, something caught my eye. It was a stack of envelopes sitting close to where my keys had fallen. I knew I hadn't been to the apartment in a couple of weeks after taking some time off for summer vacation to visit with family, but I had no idea my mail would be piling up like this. So I did the natural thing: I sat down and started painstakingly going through each letter. Most of them were credit card companies, talking about debts I owed from way back when I was in high school. There were a few letters from my car company, talking about payments I owe on my car. And I had taken out some bank loans at the beginning of the year to cover expenses (I'll admit some expenses were not really necessary), which I was going to need to start paying back soon. What was I going to do?
My roommate had told me before that I should be careful with all the credit I was using. But I had brushed her off, saying she didn't know what she was talking about. After all, I knew what I was doing, or at least thought I knew. She had said that if I kept on the way I was going, they were going to repossess my car and I would have to be enrolled in some debt consolidation program like all the people you see on TV who want to file for bankruptcy but can't. I know I won't be filing for bankruptcy because I'm sure I can't under the new laws, and I don't want my stuff repossessed. I like my car! The only option I thought I might have a chance with was debt consolidation.
I had to do a little research to find out what I was really getting myself into because when my roommate had mentioned it I had a brief idea of what it was but couldn't really be sure. Debt consolidation is when a person has many obligations and many bills to pay so they consolidate, or merge, their payments into one simple monthly payment. The idea is that you keep track of your payments and you get out of debt quicker and easier.
I'm going to have to do a little more research into this whole debt consolidation thing before I really commit to it, unlike how I've been doing with my credit cards and loans. I knew that before I had really just accepted any offer they gave me, and didn't take time to see what was reasonable and what wasn't. My irresponsibility with financial documents had gotten me into this mess. But now that I realize I can't approach important business that way, I'm going to look into what different programs are available and even if any other options exist besides debt consolidation. Hopefully I'll see an end, or at least a solution, to this problem soon!

gift basket
So you've decided to buy a gift basket for somebody. Perhaps it was their birthday, or their graduation, or a bridal shower, or they are about to have a baby, or you have just bought a basket to show how much you care (and to gain a one-up on last month's employee of the month, who somehow seemed to sneak a beautiful bouquet of what looked like fake white roses into the boss's office last year while she was at a conference). As any gift basket conscious person with an ounce of common sense would do, you head straight to the place with all of the answers: Google. Before you submit yourself to the great God of Internet search engines, you need to figure out what you're looking for exactly because if your topic is too vague you'll come up with too many possibilities and if your topic is too specific you won't have enough options. You would type in gift baskets as your search term but you're not trying to buy just any gift basket. This isn't just any gift basket purchase, after all. Suppose you're buying one for a coworker or for your team as a means of motivation. You won't want to buy the same gift basket for presentation in the office as you would for a friend or your mother. Your gift basket much be professional! It must make the recipient say, "Wow, this employee really knows how to give a good, wholesome, business oriented gift basket!"
Here's the ticket: you search for corporate gift baskets since you work in a corporation, although terms like "business-like" gift baskets and "professional-looking" gift baskets may also provide some decent results. You click on the first item that pops up. They have a nice long list of baskets that have expensive wines and truffles and imported fruits and rare chocolates. Wait a minute...you don't have the funds for a gift basket as expensive as these! After all, you're purchasing these on your budget, not on the company credit card. Gift baskets aren't tax deductible, after all! You may feel like giving up. Don't give in to the urge! You can afford a nice corporate gift basket as long as you don't try buying one that costs almost $100. You continue on the search, slowly finding more and more possibilities until you see it: the perfect gift basket. It is important to understand that once you spot the perfect gift basket, you will not have to look any farther! Successful gift basket shoppers know the feeling: your eyes are tired and watery, your neck muscles are sore, and your fingers hurt from all the typing and mouse clicking. You are looking for the magical gift basket. You are really ready to give up by now, even though you worked through your price issues. And then, you see it, on page 465 of 470. This basket is the perfect size, the perfect shape, and the perfect color with the perfect products inside at the perfect price. You stare at it for a moment, trying to figure out if this is really true and if this basket is really the perfect basket. Maybe you're seeing things; this basket could be just a mirage, a result of your eyes playing tricks on you. You close them and look at the screen again...it's still there! What do you do now?
You go get your credit card and buy it, of course! There is no need to look further. Shopping for a gift basket is like shopping for the perfect pair of jeans. Once you find them, you don't hesitate to buy them because you never know when you'll run across such a good deal again! And if you don't buy it, the thought of what purchase could have been will forever loom in your thoughts long after the event has passed. Fortunately for you, that's not an issue. Congratulations! You are now a successful gift basket shopper!

security audit
My brother had always been the tech savvy sibling of our home. While I would be trying to master dodgeball and collect rocks and shells, he would be fiddling with making his first website with Geocities and learning the joys of manipulating GIFs. Needless to say, I really respect his opinion when it comes to computer issues. This is especially true whenever he comments on security issues for computers or websites.
He recently bought a random website address and spruced it up using AJAX type programming to make a virtual Mother's Day card for our mom. Quite frankly, it was a very creative idea, and it would last as long as he owned the website and kept it running. In the process of making it however, he started to be a lot more aware of security issues. While I mulled over what to write on the website and agonized about which pictures to include for the various pages, my brother started to read up on and become a strong believer in the security audit. This audit is a periodic check of your websites to check for security loopholes. One such device could be the web application scanner, which helps spot loopholes for the web applications of your website. I didn't know this, but web applications include things like online message boards or digital shopping carts. The Mother's Day website probably wouldn't have either of these, but he found it interesting nonetheless.
Also, given that he was using AJAX stuff to form a creative website, he started to look into AJAX application security as well. This creative programming tool could also be vulnerable to hacker attacks, and he wanted to be ready for all those who would hack into our dear mother's website. In all seriousness, though, he emphasized the need to conduct a regular security audit where website cracks would be exposed. After setting up his site, he ran a web application scanner to quickly check if people entering text into the "comments" box of the website could use it as a doorway to see more of the website.
AJAX application security was especially important since he planned to use a lot of AJAX applications to spruce up our Mother's Day website. We wanted to add flash animation and dynamic backgrounds for the website. It was the least we could do for the infinitely greater sacrifice our mother had made for us throughout the years.

credit report
The process of buying a new car is something I didn't quite understand, and who does, before I bought one. I didn't know about all of the red tape and all of the choices. The research involved was enough to make me want to drop out of class and just work on that. Especially with all of the problems with gas prices lately, I have had a lot to think about these last few months.
I decided with the help of my parents that I was going to buy a new car about a month ago. We had been sitting down to dinner one night and all of us we in agreement that I needed some type of car, but not something expendable both for reasons of responsibility and durability. I knew that I wanted a car that would last me for as long as possible and wouldn't die out a year after I started driving it. I knew the costs of simply buying a financing the car, but I had no idea that it would be so difficult to come to that final decision. When I did decide on a car that both fit our budget and fit my own personal standards there arose yet another problem in the whole process. I had never even thought about my own credit but my parents had wanted to put the car in to my name. The only problem is is that I have never had a credit card. So what we had to do was to apply and get a student credit card for me and then fill out a credit report. We just printed one off from a free credit report web site in about ten minutes. Then we could carry on with the process of buying the car which i love by the way.
The last part of the process has really got me thinking about my own finances because I never have before. I have been doing lots of research on reasons for people having bad credit and how to go about doing personal credit repair. I am really glad now that I know some of the ways, such as buying a new car, that people get themselves in to a situation where they have bad credit. Now i know what to avoid besides buying a new car.

debt consolidation
I mean, I am a student and do not have a constant, full time, source of income. I have some ideas for possible businesses that I can get involved in, but I do not even have time to think about those and put those to life. So, here I am, paying a lot and earning little. Maybe little. Maybe it just seems little to me. I mean, I love what I do and I am satisfied with the results…financially…and morally…I am sure that there are a lot of people out there who make much less and have much greater financial responsibilities…but, as I have said before, there never seems to be enough money, and the more you spend, the more you want to spend. I experience this when I study something as well - the more I study, the more I realize that, first of all, there is so much more out there on the topic that I could study, and, second of all, the more I am able to take in, process, think of, etc. It just seems that life consists of certain patterns that persist and that can be applied to a lot of different things in a lot of different walks of life. Interesting. Sometimes I start wondering if there is a certain job that will take care of all these expenses and not lead to having to do eliminate debt…possibly……and sometimes I find that there just is not one. It's difficult, though, since once you start spending, you need more and more debt help, and the circle continues… And since the circle continues, I start looking more and more into zero percent annual percentage rate balance transfers to do the debt consolidation, more credit cards with low introductory APR, and so forth. As if I am not able to take an active approach and say, "I am not going to spend more until I earn more", but, rather, just follow my desires, spend, and then resort to more and more debt consolidators. You feel powerless. Powerless in front of your own desires, lack of strong will, or whatever else that be. It is as if money indirectly, is a magnet that if you do not spend it, then you feel as if you missed something in your life.

smart lipo
I wish some scientist would come up with how to get rid of or prevent cellulite. Of all the things being researched nowadays, this seems like it would be a pretty easy one to figure out. I have always had cellulite. Even as a child. I guess once I hit puberty I noticed it. I think it has something to do with how healthily your parents feed you... and even further than that, if you were bottle or breast fed as an infant. I was bottle fed, and from what my dad tells me, they started me on baby food really early. Back then, parents added cereal to bottles to get the baby to sleep through the night sooner. And as soon as I could eat table food, he was feeding me McDonalds! Can you imagine? He was a single dad with 2-3 jobs, so it was probably the best and quickest thing for him. That was probably how he ate, so I just did the same. Growing up, we always ate out, and usually fast food. I loved home cooked meals, vegetables, fruit, all of those healthy foods. But in my household, we never had them. It kind of makes me mad now. How could you not know you should be feeding your kids healthier? I guess they knew, just did not care enough. Well, their decisions back then have determined my feeling on smartlipo. I want it. Plain and simple. I do not care how much smartlipo cost. The fact that smart lipo is available makes me want it. I mean, realistically, I need to see how much smart lipo cost. And I will, but that is a definite on my wish list. I cannot think of a more rewarding decision. A few days of pain, if it is even that long now, and then the rest of your life (hopefully) you have that cellulite and unwanted fat pockets taken care of. Everyday you would look into the mirror and instead of loathing those area and cottage cheese patches, you would be admiring your body and feeling fantastic about your decision. I am sure you could make monthly payments! Ha ha.... that is one monthly payment I would relish in! I would not feel like I was throwing my money down the drain for that one. All of this thinking has inspired me to find out facts on this procedure, and possibly make an appointment for myself. I feel that I have made my decision in just this session of thinking...I owe it to myself.

matchmaking site
The online dating scene can be a real bear. Not necessarily so much if you are an average person who is just looking for someone special, but if you really have a lot going for you, then you will find that you will attract a ton of people who just love to look at you, especially if your picture is really hot.
I can't stand when singles put pictures out there in their personals that are blurry. I mean it is not like people can't figure it out, if you were better looking than you would use a really good picture, but if you don't want people to be able to really tell what you look like, that is the time where a really blurry picture comes in handy, don't you think.
I also can't understand the people who go onto an online matchmaking site and lie. That is just beyond idiotic. Do they not realize that upon meeting the person, you will be able to see that they lied? I really hate these people because they waste the time of real people who are looking to make real love connections. When I get online, I am always completely honest, I don't think that it serves anyone's purpose to tell people that I am tall, thin, 20 and look like a model. Those are all things that looking at me they will see are not true.
I just wish the online dating companies could find a way to weed out all the liars and weirdoes and convicts. They really need to come up with a screening process for some of these individuals. Maybe they could hire a representative for each state, who could travel around and make sure people were telling the truth, if they did that, they would truly scare the pants off some of those losers, I promise you. Maybe, instead of actually hiring someone, they should just put out a leak to the media, saying that they are going to put someone out in the field to randomly check and see if people are telling the truth, and if they are not, they will be fined $1000.00 that would show some of those creeps, don't you think?
In short, I have used online dating for the past several years, and I have really found it a rewarding experience. I have met many people, and made a few love connections. Truthfully most of us out there are telling the truth, but sometimes the few that don't just get my goat.

concert tickets
I really enjoy going to concerts. Music is my life. My very first concert was with my mom when I was just a little kid. When she showed me the Tom Petty tickets that she had in her hands, I didn't even know what they were or who Tom Petty was. Quite honestly I loved the concert and the atmosphere, but I am still not a Tom Petty fan. I went to a few concerts with my mother when I was younger. She took me to a Sting concert and a Madonna Concert, only that wasn't the Madonna of today, although she is still kind of the same and I think that she seems like a pretty cool person. Really out there but still somehow really cool.
Now that I earn my own money, I buy a lot of concert tickets, which ironically my mother says is a waste of my money…Well what did she expect, I mean she took me to concerts and got me hooked on the atmosphere. I think she just says that because I am into country and western music which she absolutely despises. I have tried several times to get her into it, but she really can't stand it, I am afraid. I even tried to give her Kenny Chesney tickets for her birthday, and although she was very gracious about the whole thing, in the end she asked me if I would mind if she exchanged them for something else. Well, she traded them in for another concert and asked me to go with, for the life of me I can't remember who was in the concert, but all I remember was that I didn't really want to go to her concert any more than she wanted to go to mine, so we agreed to disagree.
Now, we have tried many times to agree on music, but the only thing that we can agree on is that I don't like her oldies music, and she can't stand country western. It is so bad that when we ride in the car together, we can only listen to talk radio, which I guess is better than fighting over the radio stations and whining to each other about the music selections. Don't get me wrong, other than music my mother and I get along wonderfully, we have a lot in common and we share a common love of music, just not the same genre, but that's okay.
