moving companies
Graduation’s coming up! I get to look forward to so many things –
getting a job, saying “screw you” to school, and moving out! I
have no idea where I’ll end up moving, but I do
know that wherever I go, I’m going to love it. Hopefully I’ll be
able to move in with a friend or two and take a few years to enjoy
myself and get settled into a new job. Moving though… such a
hassle. I don’t really mind having to box things up and move them,
but when it gets to be of this magnitude, it becomes really
hectic. If I was just moving a room or two I could probably get it
done myself in a day or two, but moving most of my things will
probably require a truck
rental or calling some moving
companies. However! I really don’t know if I have enough to
warrant using any of the moving companies around here when I could
just get a few friends together and buy them food/beer. It’ll be
infinitely cheaper, even with the truck rental. I just hope that
there’ll be enough space in the new place (wherever it’ll be) for
all of my stuff. Who knows. As long as I have room for my
computer, a desk, and my videogames, I’ll be okay, haha. That, and
my cooking stuff. Maybe I’ll grab one of those portable
storage thingies. We could probably split the cost and then
use it together. It’s more convenient that way, anyways. Is it
“anyway” or “anyways”? I don’t think it really matters too much,
but I’d really like to know. I think that anyway is more
grammatically correct while anyways is more embedded in our
vernacular. Ah crap. You know, the more I think about it, I’m
starting to grow up. It sucks, haha. I just realized that what was
once the best part about moving into a new place (awesome
housewarming party!) is going to be something I will desperately
try to avoid so that I can live somewhere respectable. Oh well.
Exchanging one thing for the other, I guess. Now where’s that
truck….
