Taking Natural Diet Pills Better?

People are always saying that natural is better. Organic food and recycling is bigger now than ever. You can't go anywhere without seeing those recyclable grocery shopping bags or ‘go green' t-shirts. So is it true that organic or natural is better? People seem to think that natural diet pills are better at least. Natural diet pills do not contain a lot of ingredients that the other diet pills do have like caffeine, chemicals, guar gum or other products that could be harmful to you, but they still claim that these pills are as good, if not better than regular diet pills.

There is one natural diet pill that I read about that is made out of dehydrated cactus leaves. It says it has no side effects at all and works by binding with fat in your stomach and preventing them from being digested. The selling points to this natural diet pill include: suppressing your appetite, reducing your cholesterol levels and a full money back guarantee.

While these all seem tempting, when a website says something like “no side effects” and 4 month money back guarantee it makes me question. First of all, every person is different, is there is no way that they can tell you that you won't have a side effect or reaction to this diet pill. Also, dieting should be a healthy process and by the time you should see the weight being lost, the money back guarantee expires. If you lose a ton of weight right away from this (like it suggests happens) you aren't as likely to keep it off. Dieting needs to be a lifestyle change, not just the pop of a pill. If you suddenly lose all of this weight form a diet pill and then stop taking it, you will more than likely gain that weight back. You need to change your diet, your eating, your workout routine and your mind set about food and the way you feel about yourself to have positive long term effects on your weight loss. Using a pill may seem like a good idea at the time, but it is not a lasting solution, which is frustrating and can lead to more problems.

I'm not sure if natural diet pills are better than regular diet pills, but am they even okay in general for you to take? Anyone thinking about taking a supplement like a diet pill (keyword supplement) needs to seriously talk to their doctor and look into what is right for them.
