tights are so fun
It is finally starting to get cold around here, especially at night. it has been so warm throughout the fall that i ended up buying quite a few skirts to wear to school and work, but now it is too cold to wear them with bare legs. Maybe I can find some cute tights to keep my legs warm. I used to have many pairs of tights when I lived in New York. I had really wooly ones that were very warm and others that were ribbed that made my legs look skinnier. I like to wear black tights or dark earthy tones more that the light or nude colored ones. I love the tights that have cool patterns like argyle or plaid, but they make my legs took too fat. I love fish net tights because my legs look the best in this design for some odd reason. I just thought of those sexy tights with the seam in the back... those are cool. I have not ever worn those. I did have a pair of pink ballet tights that had a seam in the back but not those black hose type for cocktail dresses and such. I wonder if they make silk tights. They must. Silk tights are probably the only kind of tights that the really rich people wear or something. I don't think I have ever seen any before. What I have seen thought are tights that have a stir-up foot instead of covering the whole foot. I'm not sure why they make those, but perhaps it is more convenient for some people. I have four main skirts that I need to find tights for. One is black rayon type skirt about knee length. I would need a thinner cotton tight for that one. I have a denim skirt where pretty much anything goes so I will have to consider my tops as well. I have forest green and burgundy in mind to go with the denim skirt. Another skirt I have is long and khaki so I can probably wear the black tights with that. Maybe I could get away with the argyle tight under that since not much of my leg shows when I wear it. There are so many options it really just depends on where I go to buy them. I have noticed that different stores usually have a different set of design options so I will have to stop around.
