Trying white tea
Growing up my mother always drank tea, but from an early age I just never liked it much. Black tea always seemed a bit bitter, and iced tea, which people frequently would offer when I was visiting was no more pleasing to me quite honestly. Then when I grew up I got into chamomile tea and drinking some herbal teas and I especially liked to drink a nice cup of chamomile tea before bed each night. I found it very soothing and enjoyed the taste much better than the black tea of my youth. Then last year a friend of mine who was very into teas and using them for the health benefits told me that I should try drinking white tea. She said that the list of white tea benefits was incredible, and not only would I be doing something good for my body, but that it was very tasty as well, which made it especially appealing to me. I tasted it, and I really liked it, but I was really wondering what the health benefits were of drinking this wonderful tea.
I began researching on the internet the benefits of drinking white tea and I found an astounding list of health benefits. They said that drinking white tea daily could reduce my risk of cancer. That the antioxidants in the white tea that could work just as well as a prescription medication. They said that white tea can thin the blood and improve artery function and therefore can lower a person's blood pressure. It also helps with healthier bones, improving heart function, healthy teeth and gums, healthier skin, and is a natural killer of viruses and bacterias. White tea may also help improve your metabolism and may encourage your body to burn more fat.
The best thing is that it has a nice smooth taste that is much less bitter than black tea, and much less grassy tasting than green tea. It is a great time to start drinking tea and start reaping all the wonderful health benefits that a cup a day has to offer you. I know that you will notice the difference right away, I did.
