university directory
This week I had a bit of trouble. Between this week and next week is when all the teachers on campus give their midterms. I don't know if that's how it is at other universities but here is is like clockwork. The only problem for me came when I realized that I had all six of my midterms this week, the last of which is tomorrow. I have been studying for all six of these finals for about two weeks straight. With only one left, I don't feel any less stressed to my limit. If anything I won't be able to calm down until I go to bed tomorrow night. On wednesday I had the most major freakout I have had since I started school. I was supposed to take my history exam but the professor had changed the room for the exam because there is construction going on in the building and they wanted to do something inside of our classroom. So he had switched the location about two weeks ago. In my infinite wisdom and countless hours of studying, forgot to remember or even write down the new building and room number. So when I walked in to my classroom twenty minutes before the exam was set to start and it was filled with about ten construction workers and a cloud of white dust, I realized my error. Since I commute by bike every day about ten miles, there was absolutely no way I was going to go home and get back in time to make the exam. So I had to run to the library and frantically search through the university directory to find my history professor's contact info. After finding it and calling him about six times he finally picked up and told me where to be. I got to the room only about ten minutes late and feel I actually did well on the test. With all the other things I needed to think about this week, that was the last thing that I would have wanted to happen. Now with one exam left for tomorrow I have stopped studying and have left it up to my own faith in the material because I need to get at least one good night of sleep this week.
