Wedding invitations
I really had no idea how important wedding invitations were until I started helping my cousin out with her wedding. After placing herself in the wedding announcements, she asked me for help with some stuff and I of course agreed. Man, trying to pick out wedding stationery is seriously like deciding the fate of your marriage, haha. The wedding invitations you send out will probably have a pretty big impact on whether a person shows up or not (if they’re not family or close friends, that is), and you want a wedding to be full, not empty! We were looking through the more elegant wedding invitations the other day and were really impressed with the styles and prices on this one website we found. Today we’ll probably look through the other styles. There are so many that I really don’t know how to decide. Bah! The crazy thing is that it’s not even my decision! I guess that’s less stress on me though, haha. I won’t have to choose between my favorite five designs like she will. But seriously, all of this wedding stuff has made me think a lot about my own. Sure, it probably won’t be for a really long time, but that “really long time” isn’t really that far away, is it? Spooky. I’m pretty sure I’d get my wedding stationery and wedding invitations from the same site though. The selection is seriously overwhelming (in a good way), and it is always nice to have options. They offer a lot of stuff at really great prices, too, and you can choose to have optional pieces of flair if you want, such as ribbon or lace, etc. It’s nice, and I feel like a lot of it is worth it. You only really get one wedding invitation to send out in your lifetime (hopefully), so I think that it’s worth spending a little more to be happy with what you have, especially when it’s only a minor expense compared to the actual ceremony and reception, which should always include an open bar. If you don’t have one and I have to take a plane to get to your wedding, expect me to egg your house.
