and i was dancin'

I camped out with my friends Debbie, Sari and Blythe for Indigo tickets.  We ended up spending 16 hours outside waiting for tickets.  We all had a blast, keeping ourselves occupied with spades and tv tag at 3 in the morning (or in Blythe's case, by doing homework!) .  It was great, I met some really cool people along the way and ended up with fourth row seats.  Well worth the wait.

Sari showing off her popcorn.   Pretty cool, eh?  When you are stuck sitting on concrete with nothing to do for hours and hours, you gotta amuse yourself somehow.....

This is all us girls, huddled together in the middle of the night.  There were at least 75-100 of us who stayed all night.  By 7am hundreds more arrived.  (but ha ha, we were at the front of the line!!!)

After the show -- Mary in front of the bus that amy and emily were in !

After the show mary, sari, andrew and i hung around outside waiting for the girls to come out.  We could see their aftershow party through a window, so there was a whole crowd of us standing there staring at emily.   While everyone else was too busy being in awe, sari and I decide to get emily's attention by screaming at the top of our lungs "we love you emily".  She turned around and smiled and waved at us!!!!!  fabulous.   Then about a half an hour later she came out and shook hands and talked for a while with the crowd.  Watching her finally come out of the building was amazing.  Everyone just gasped and took a step backwards.  She is so incredible. Anyhow, she was feeling sick, so we all told her we hoped she felt better soon.  AND I ACTUALLY GOT TO SHAKE HER HAND!!!!    About another half an hour later amy came out, but headed straight for the tour bus.  Well, no one was saying anything, so thinking i would never get another opportunity to confess my undying love for her, screamed "i love you amy".  I don't know if she much cared, but  i couldn't waste such a good chance....    Then the tour bus started up and they were off, complete with a formal farewell from mary and i.  All together this was an incredible night!
