Once submitted, your responses are processed by a CGI script (gform) on the University of North Carolina web server. Only your responses are sent to and processed by this server. You name, e-mail address, or any other identifying information is not processed by the server. Therefore, when your responses are forwarded to me, they are completely anonymous. That being said, I have not resolved the security issues of sending confidential information over the Internet. While UNC is exploring obtaining a certified secure web server, until that time, it is technically feasible to intercept information sent over the Internet.
