The Johnston Center

Located in Graham Memorial, the James M. Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence (JCUE) serves the UNC campus community. The Johnston Center offers three seminar rooms and two medium-sized classrooms, all outfitted with state-of-the-art teaching and communications technology.

Mike Schmidt is the OASIS technical and instructional support liaison for the Johnston Center. Mike can be reached at 843-2205.

Documentation

OASIS has prepared two documents which will assist instructors as they use the Johnston Center's facilities.

• JCUE Classroom Operating Instructions for Seminar Rooms 210, 212, and 213 explains the basic room controls, the wireless keyboard, Smartboard, laptop computers, document camera, video capabilities and shutting down process.
  
  
• JCUE Classroom Facilities, Training and Use discusses basic troubleshooting strategies for the room, recommendations for testing, and classroom protocols.
