Select a minimum of three websites from the list below, based on your health-related interests.  (If you have other organizations in mind that are not on this list, that is fine too as long as they focus on any health issue of human populations—let me know which ones in advance you plan to explore.)  Read about the organizations for the purposes of finding research topic(s) that interest you.  Contacting the organizations themselves to discuss your interests is highly encouraged—I can help with that, if needed.

Due 9/2/03, write a 1-page statement identifying your research interests and how they tie into your activist/advocacy goals.  On 9/2/03, I will discuss how to write research questions and hypotheses, which will help you shape and specify your research agenda.
