Summer 2006 – Present IT Student Apprentice, Kenan-Flagler Business School IT Department

In this position, I remove computer viruses, and install wireless and local area network connections. I also help business school students and staff with problems they are having with their laptop and desktop computers.

 

Fall 2004-Summer 2006 Office Assistant, UNC-Chapel Hill Computer Science Accounting Department

In this capacity, I entered accounting information into a database, filed papers, and delivered interoffice memorandums. I also served as the receptionist in the absence of the presiding receptionist.

 

Fall 2003-Spring 2004 Cashier, Hardee’s of Enfield

As cashier, I was the liaison between the customer and the business. I effectively took the customer’s orders while at the same time creating a friendly atmosphere. My responsibilities also were to maintain the cleanliness of the lobby and wash the utensils used to prepare and serve the food.

 

Fall 2000-Spring 2004 Peer Tutor, Southeast Halifax High School

In this position, I tutored in the area of mathematics ranging from Algebra to Calculus. As a result I helped raise the grades and test scores of several low performance students.
