My name is Shannon Ingram. I am a junior journalism major at UNC
Chapel Hill and hope to pursue a career in advertising after graduation
in May of 1999. Aside from my advertising aspirations, I am also
interested in a career in merchandising and planning in the retail
clothing business. I am currently working part-time as a lead
cashier at the Gap on East Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. I have
been with the company for my entire college career, and my
experience there has sparked my interest in a career in
merchandising.I am originally from Wilmington, NC
and have lived there my entire life, with the exception of my
time at Carolina. My favorite place to spend time is at the
beach, reading a good book, tossing the frisbee, or just lounging.
I also enjoy movies and TV, especially the Simpsons and anything
from the 80s. George Lucas, Steven Speilberg, and John Hughes are
my heroes (in order of importance). My favorite film(s) of all time
is the Star Wars Trilogy: my idea of true art.
