Welcome to my website!

Thank you for visiting my site! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research fields are political methodology and international relations. In methodology I specialize in missing data problems, Bayesian statistics, statistical computing, and measurement issues. I have several papers on new statistical methods and am developing several R packages to implement the methods I suggest in my papers. In international relations, my subject of specialty is terrorism. I am especially interested in the empirical implications of theoretical models and the gathering of terrorism data.
