| Welcome
to the VITA home site at the
University of North Carolina School of Law. VITA was started in spring 1998 to provide free income tax assistance to low-income individuals and families at sites in the Research Triangle area. UNC Law students who participate in the program are certified by the Income Revenue Service before volunteering at VITA sites. |
For spring 2000, we have organized 10
sessions in
Orange and Chatham counties listed below. For more information on VITA, please contact the program coordinators, Ryan Adams and and Carolyn McPhillips, via email. The VITA director is Sylvia Novinsky, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, can also be reached at 919-962-7813. |
