Executive Program in Health and Population for Developing Countries


EPDC Study Abroad

Graduate students interested in International Health and the developing world in particular can now apply to take one or two semesters of coursework in Jaipur, India, through the EPDC program of the UNC-CH School of Public Health. This program has been designed specifically to prepare students for health policy, management and research in the developing world, especially South and East Asia and Africa. All EPDC courses in India are taught by UNC faculty. Students will live and study in Jaipur on the campus of our collaborating institution, the Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR).

Students in the Peace Corps MPH program are encouraged to apply for these international graduate study positions.

COST

Students at the UNC-CH School of Public Health will pay their regular tuition; others will pay tuition fees of $1250 per course. Dorm facilities, meals and linen are provided on the campus of the IIHMR for $100 per week. Books and supplies will generally cost $100 per course.

TRANSFER CREDIT

UNC graduate students will receive full credit for all courses. For others, transfer of credit varies by school and university; contact your registrar or call, write, fax, or email us if you have questions.
