• Improved the quantitative accuracy of bone measurements made using a high-resolution micro-CT scanner through compensation in a reconstruction algorithm for geometric misalignment and physical factors in x-ray imaging
• Optimized the acquisition and reconstruction parameters

Masters Research (UNC-Chapel Hill), June 1999 - May 2001.

• Compared the performance of a small field-of-view (FOV) gamma camera to that of a standard FOV gamma camera for myocardial perfusion SPECT using simulation studies and a channelized Hotelling observer
