COOL LINKS!

This page features some of my favorite links - I hope you try them out!

Blue Mountain logo

www.Bluemountain.com. This is a great site! It's managed by AmericanGreetings.com, so you know they're pros of the card business. You can click here to send a friend a quick little e-card - It's perfect if you've forgotten someone's birthday, or if you just want to say hello. I think these cards are a great way to let someone know you were thinking about them.

Google logo

www.google.com. This is the search engine I use most - it's pretty helpful for all of my papers. We took an informal poll in my J-50 class and this seemed to be the most popular engine. Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin and released to the public in 1999 as a faster and more comprehensive search engine. I think this site's lived up to its founder expectations!

Hotmail Home Page

www.hotmail.com. E-mail is the best thing ever - and it's taking over as a major form of communication in modern society. Hotmail is a free service from MSN. You can keep in touch with people all over the world, your message goes through almost instantaneously, and you don't have to worry about postage!

Ramses - UNC logo

www.unc.edu. What soon-to-be tarheel grad could go without putting this down as one of their favorite links?! Everything you need is here - from information for students on classes, registration, grades libraries and much, much more! This site is managed by the school, so all the information is accurate and up-to date.

CNN logo

www.cnn.com. Like most college students, it's rare that I find time to sit down and watch the news or read a newspaper to see what's going on in the world. Luckily, I can click on this site to catch up on the latest news! This site is managed by the news organization of CNN, so it's very dependable.

Record

www.spinner.com. This is an awesome feature you can use on your computers. Go to this site and download spinner, and you can play continuous music of your favorite genre all day! The site is free and founded by the Phoenix Partners based out of Seattle. American Online bought the site in 1999 and sponsors the program. I really recommend this one!

And of course I have to give a shout-out to the J-50 web page! If you're taking this class, this site has all the information you could ever need!!!
