Team Name: "The End Users"
Project: Redesign the StudentCentral web application.
Team members:

Rationale: We chose StudentCentral for a number of reasons. First, as a web application, StudentCentral is an integral part of the UNC "student experience." We have all moaned in agony during registration periods when StudentCentral is less than responsive, and, at other times, we have been bewildered at the logic defying output of the GPA calculator, the course search engine, or the "What If?" analyzer. To be a UNC student, one must suffer the slings and arrows of StudentCentral. Second, given that all students use StudentCentral throughout their academic careers, it should be possible to observe the use of, and to solicit meaningful feedback about our artifact. Finally, we all agreed that StudentCentral offered plenty of opportunity for change and improvement.
