Interested in joining the Rogers Lab?

Students and postdocs in the lab will be trained in a variety of techniques including microscopy, biochemistry, and high-throughput cell-based screening while pursuing projects centered on understanding cellular organization, behavior, and dynamics.

PhD Students

Candidates for graduate study are encouraged to apply through the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program (BBSP). Students admitted through the BBSP typically complete three ten-week rotations in the first year, providing a variety of research experiences that allow students and potential graduate advisors to evaluate whether a given lab is a good fit. Information regarding the program and application procedures may be found on the BBSP website.

Postdocs

We encourage applications from talented and motivated postdoctoral candidates with relevant experience in cell and developmental biology, genetics, genomics, or biochemistry. The strongest applicants will have a record of high-quality publications, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for basic research, and a collegial/collaborative approach to science.

All applications should include the following:

  • Cover letter, indicating current and future research interests
  • Expected availability date
  • Proposed research project
  • CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Publication reprints
  • Contact information for three references
  • Email Steve Rogers (preferred)
