A
SLICE OF SUE
Welcome.
Please, kick back and enjoy the journey. . .
Just so you know
what I'm about, I do my thing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where my four
(and a half) year journey at UNC-Chapel Hill is reaching its final destination
in December 1998. My major, English, has served it's purpose by embracing
me in the fantastical land of literature and instilling a critical eye
of the world and all the social drama it contains. Ready or not, I will
continue my lifelong venture by immersing myself in a world of complete
and total independence. I'm taking suggestions. Its a peculiar feeling--the
process of shedding off an old skin and becoming comfortable in a new one.
Hopefully, the sunny vibes of San Diego will embrace the next chapter of
my life with love and realness--both essential to the positive energy that
keeps us alive and going.
On
that vibe, mad love to all the beautiful people out there who check me
out!
Journey
to some other fabulous sites:
* Robert Mondavi
http://www.robertmondavi.com.
If you enjoy wine like myself, this is a great site to explore the
wonderful art of wine and an opportunity to educate yourself in the process.
It also offers a tasty archive of recipes that will enhance the flavor
of any wine you prefer. I've always enjoyed Mondavi red wines so I have
provided this particular link.
* BUZZ. . .
http://www.mindcrime.net/.
Good music, good vibes, and groovin' to it all. This site is
a local techno scene located in the kickin' city of Washington, D.C.
If you enjoy after-hours parties where the music's stompin' and the atmosphere
is ripe for groovin' and vibin', then you should definitely check this
out. It provides a list of local events on the East coast and articles
about various dj's. Know your music--it's the cure for any heartache.
* Astrology-Numerology
http://www.astrology-numerlogy.com/.
One site that's meant to enlighten and open your mind. This is
a pleasant site to keep you in tune with the cosmic energy around us and
for being aware of your own place within the stars. It's very informative
for those who are merely exploring yet it also provides various links to
specific fields within astrology. A great way to take a fresh breath
and gain a new perspective.
* Art Crimes: The Writing on the Wall
http://www.graffiti.org/index.html.
Art is life and life is art. An absolutely off-the-hook site
that is more than visually appealing to the eye in a contemporary light.
Many don't consider graffiti as an expressive form of art but I'm sure
they've never tried to create something beautiful with spray paint.
If you've never seen amazing graffiti, t his is an excellent site to expand
your aesthetic horizons. The creator of this site guides you through
a pleasant, easy journey into the world of graffiti.
* Paris-Zoom
http://www.paris-anglo.com/.
Bonjour les americains. I must spread the word by letting you
know that my own adventure to France, and Paris especially, was tremendous.
The decadent city of Paris offers you the finest crepes, exquisite red
wines, breathtaking art from Rodin's sculptures to Van Gogh's magical
paintings, spectacular chateaus... a truly special atmosphere. The
most wonderful aspect of this amazing city is that all you have to do is
absorb all the beauty around you. You'll be inspired for life.
This is a particularly fabulous site because it offers you various kinds
of information about France--studying abroad, international career opportunities,
and a "treasure chest of contacts" that will make your visit that more
splendid.
Although it's
just a slice, I hope you caught a vibe and enjoyed your journey.
And trust, there's
more to come. . .
