I began twirling baton at the ripe
ol' age of three after my mom found an ad in the local newspaper.
I still remember the day that she asked me if I would like to perform
in parade and go to competitions. "Yes! Of course!" I said.
Little did I know what an impact the sport would have on my life.

After 15 years of training
as a majorette, I took two years off to recharge. I'm now twirling with
three awesome girls, Kelly, Danielle and Allison. They have helped make
my senior year memorable.

There's no feeling quite
like the exhilaration that I experience when I'm on the football field.
We work HARD to make the half-time show happen, and when the majorettes
pull it off with a "no drop" performance, we're on top of
the world.

We had the unfortunate
luck of getting soaked during a majority of the Saturdays that home
football games were scheduled. We managed to stay dry with your standard
ponchos!
