The extensive fifteenth-century sermon collection found in Worcester Cathedral MS. F.10 contains one item, in the standard scholastic sermon form, that uses as its thema a text from Aristotle. This is the academic speech in praise of philosophy that a master was required at medieval universities to give at his inception, a genre of which no other representatives from medieval England are known to exist.
