General Biographical Information
I was born on December 4, 1962 in Far Rockaway, New York.
For the first 14 years of my life I lived in Woodmere, New York.
I moved with my family to Chapel Hill,
North Carolina in 1977.
I attended Appalachian State
University
in Boone,
North Carolina
from 1981-1985. I graduated with a degree in broadcasting in
1985. In 1986 I started working in the Academic Affairs Libary
at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel
Hill .
In December of 1996 in earned a masters degree in library science at North
Carolina Central University's School of Library and Information
Science.
Currently I work as an Serials Cataloger in
Davis Library at UNC-Chapel Hill. I
also have a
part-time job doing teleresearch (phone surveys) for FGI [no, it does not
stand for anything] in Chapel Hill. I presently live in a condo in
Carrboro,
North Carolina and have an extremely loquatious cat
named Casey.
Personal/Family Information
My mother lives in Chapel Hill. She is
Director of
Chapel Hill/Carrboro
Meals on Wheels. I have two sisters. Meg Rudansky, married to
Daniel Rudansky who live in Sag Harbor, New York. They have
two children Alison (14), and Andrew (11). My oldest sister Jill
lives in Oregon City, Oregon with her husband Larry and her two
children Alan (18) and Noah (15). Check out
their pictures.
Jill also has a site devoted to her two Cairn Terriers
Maggie and Geordie.

Even though I'm not a big hockey fan, after the New York Rangers won the Stanley Cup,
I wanted to get a chance to actually see the cup. I got my chance in Febuary of 1998
when the cup toured the Raleigh, North Carolina.
