The
worldwide leader in sports provides the best coverage of anything sports
from around the country.

This
is a site maintained by some guy in the Pacific Northwest who links
readers to articles and columns about sports from newspapers and web
sites around the country.

This
is one of the first places I go to check in with the world. I like the
design and its usability. There's nothing ever special about the content,
but it's just a good source for news, although some might argue otherwise.

To
me, the best sports section in the United States. The stories are phenomenal
and the columnists are outstanding. Just a damn fine paper. |

This
is the publication that I gave the better part of my senior year to, but
it was worth it. Great paper, great people and lots of fun. |
|

|
Hands down, the best search engine of the lot. It's simple, and if you
know how to search for information, it'll give you exactly what you're
looking for almost every time.

This
is my source for news back home in Vermont, the Rutland Herald. Really
not all that great a paper and its web site is pretty drab, but this is
the only place to go for local news. |
|
|
For
those of you who've been to Vermont, you should know about Long Trail
Ale. If you've never been, you've got to try this stuff. It's my favorite
beer, and I only get it once a year when I go home. It's only available
in the Northeast, but doggone it, it's some good stuff. |

The
greatest place to shop. You can bid on anything from bobbleheads to
bone chips, and it's also a great site for DVDs and video games. But
the best deal I've found is on soccer jerseys. They retail for close
to $50 in the U.S., but I've bought several for less than $20.
