That's me on the shore of Lake Ponchartrain in New Orleans. |
That's Jen, my girlfriend, on the shore of Lake Ponchartrain. |

That's me, Jenn (I call her Dollface) and Colin. I went to high school with both of them. This is from December 2001. This night was the first time we'd all be together in about three years. We had a blast. It was like we'd never been apart, and that's what made it so great to be around them again. |
That's my best friend Will (I call him Willis) and I during pregame festivities at the 2001 BC/Notre Dame football game in Chestnut Hill, Mass. I flew up from Chapel Hill and spent five days in Boston. They tell me BC won the football game, but since I didn't pay all that much attention to the game, I'll have to take their word for it. |

That's my old roommate from Keene State, Nick, and I during the spring of 2001. It was the first time we'd gotten together since I left KSC the year before. Good times were had by all. Sadly, it's two years later and I haven't been back to Keene since the night of the photograph. Oh well, everybody's busy. What can you do? |
It's not Mardi Gras, yet I'm wearing beads. I should've just written tourist across my forehead. We're taking a break after a couple hours of roaming through the French Quarter. I took the picture, so there's really no indication that we're actually in the French Quarter, but you'll just have to trust me. |

An oldie, but a goodie. From left to right, Mark, Colin, Me and Ron yucking it up in a friend's hottub. Yes, we're drinking, and yes we know you're not supposed to drink in the hottub. But we were young and stupid. Now, we're just stupid. |
That's me and former UNC basketball star Serge Zwicker on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill after the UNC men's basketball team beat Duke in 2001. I used to pretend I was Serge when I played basketball because I'm big and goofy. Are there any similarities? |

This thing is right outside the police department in New Orleans' French Quarter. I'm not quite sure of the symbolism, but I'd been out and about for hours and had been drinking daiquiris for just as long, and was just so amused by it, I had to take a picture. |
I like to take pictures of "Welcome To ..." state signs when I'm on the road. This one is right as you enter Alabama near Mobile. Although all I saw of Alabama was what was along Interstate 85, I'm going to go out on a limb and say "The Beautiful" is not an accurate description of the state. |

Ron, Aunt Sally and I at Aunt Sally's wedding in April 2001. She's not my real aunt, but she treats me like one of the family, so I've always called her Aunt Sally. |
My dad and I on a park bench in Raleigh in August 2001. We were waiting for Tir Na Nog, a fabulous Irish pub in Raleigh to open, and my mother snapped this shot of us two stunning lads. |

That's my best friend from Keene, Joe. How silly do we look? I've got bleach blonde hair and he's got a pair of the greatest muttenchops I've seen this side of Chester A. Arthur. I love this guy. This is just one of the many nights we spent together drinking amber-colored water. |
