The TRAS Botanical Gardens cover some 300 hectares of space in the heart of Yarch, Beta-Tauri 4.  They are well known for their diverse group of native Taurian and non-native plant species.
The Grand Courtyard features a variety of shrub, bush, and decorative tree species that are well complemented by the central pool and colonnades.  Azaleas from Earth and the famous Sen Mara trees of Lenelis are among the specimens found here.

Cottage Grove is home to a number of fruit-bearing and shade trees including the distinctive Nala species of Feresil.  During springtime, TRAS sells Nala fruit by the pound.  A variety of grasses from Fevremn are also grown along the small brook at the northern end of Cottage Grove.

The Flower Gardens are a virtual explosion of color year round.  Species which bloom in every season have been planted here.  Highlights of this area include Valhallan Wisteria and the native Taurian Eastern Star variety.

Tree Hill is an area devoted to trees of forest varieties, such as the Ponderosa Pine of Earth and the Corillian Mountianfoot varieties.  Undergrowth in this area consists of over 500 herb varieties.
