The most sacred words of Taurian religion, the Holy Åtros Texts form the basic principles of Taurian moral law and declare an age in which Åtros himself will return.  This version of the texts has been dated to the the 8th century, and is beleived to be the most recent of a series of reproductions.  The original is almost certainly lost, as it is thought to have been written at least 10,000 years before the common era.   This magnificent artifact, the Sword of Åtros, is held by religious scholars to be the original sword used by Åtros during the mythological period. The blade had been dated to an age of at least 30,000 years, though this date is considered suspect due to the precise craftsmanship involved in the detail of the hilt.  Historical records indicate that the sword most used by Åtros would have probably been shorter and less ornate.
