Founded in 2053 by Royal decree, the Taurian Royal Academy of Sciences is the foremost scientific establishment of Beta-Tauri 4.  TRAS is also recognized throughout the Imperial Worlds as a leader in the fields of Archaeology, Xenoarchaeology, Stellar Cartography, and Xenobotany. 

Our Mission is to promote and contribute to a wider understanding of history, civilization, and human origins throughout the galaxy.

TRAS is funded through the Imperial Ministry of Culture, the Government of Beta-Tauri 4, and many private donors.

Our museum halls display many treasures collected for  preservation by our staff, and are open to public visitation between dawn and dusk every day.  The TRAS Botanical Gardens are open to the public at all times.
