The Tauria-Crylix alliance was founded in 2093 as a defensive precaution against the threat of a second armed conflict with Kesh such as the brutal invasion of Beta-Tauri 4 in 2065.
Muonia, ever friendly towards Beta-Tauri 4, supplied the military force behind the Alliance, while Taurian financiers kept the organization running smoothly.  Together, the two planets succeeded in forcing a treaty with Kesh in 2099, and used their fleets to dissuade attacks by Gatraxia on their territory.  Although the Tauria-Crylix Alliance was small, its relative power was great, and cooperation regarding even small details led to a consistent policy of military readiness.  The Alliance contacted the Solar Alliance in 2198, and helped to create the Interstellar Organization of United Imperial Worlds in 2277.
