Ybrk Ysstr was a Feresite religious leader from Lenelis who became Emperor in 2301.  His dramatic work involved alleged miracles and a long crusade to undo the work of the industrialist Emperor Mélas Dornos.  Ysstr believed in harmony with nature and with all other beings.  He often spoke publicly of his belief that engineered beings did indeed have souls, and should thus be honored as one of the many unique races among the United Imperial Worlds.  Ysstr is responsible for having completed the legislative work which finally became the Engineered Life Amendment of 2309.  He retired to his world of birth in 2318 to establish a foundation for orphaned youths, the Lenelis Home for Children.  Ysstr died in 2326 and was buried in the Allied Congress Hall on Pryll.
