version 1.0A MATLAB package for measuring morphological characteristics such as area, span, average chord and second moment of area from images of insect wings. wingImageProcessor can measure morphological characteristics specific to wing function unlike general purpose tools such as imageJ or NIHimage. It also does a better job handling "noisy" images which include non-wing specks or objects. System requirements: This program requires MATLAB version 7 or later and the Image Processing toolbox.
