I am a graduate student and research assistant in information science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  My research models online social behavior within the framework of game theory and the subsequent development of social self-information.  I earned a bachelor's degree in mathematical decision science from UNC, where I held a Morehead Scholarship and was captain of the cheerleading squad.  I've done volunteer work in Uganda for non-governmental organizations, studied the effects of technology on democratization in Morocco, and have experience doing equity research with Citigroup in New York.  My ambition is to shape the development of technology in a peaceful and sustainable manner.
