me    Hi there. I'm a teaching fellow and Ph.D. candidate in the philosophy department at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  My main reasarch areas are in epistemology, and the philosophy of mind & language. I also have secondary interests in logic, 17th & 18th century philosophy, and the history of analytic philosophy. Currently, I'm writing a dissertation in semantics; you can read the second chapter HERE.

I was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on 24 September 1975, and in 1988 moved to Arizona where I attended Brophy College Prep, an all-boys Jesuit school in Phoenix. I then went to the University of Portland (Oregon) where I received my B.A. in English and Philosophy in 1998. In 2000 I received an M.A. in philosophy from Indiana University, Bloomington, and in 2002 received my second M.A. in philosophy from UNC, Chapel Hill.
