I'm currently a visiting assistant professor in the philosophy department at Virginia Tech. My main areas of interest are the philosophy of language and ontology. I also have interests in logic, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind.

I am formerly a student of William G. Lycan, in the philosophy department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, My other philosophical mentor, until his unfortunate death in 2007, was the incomparable Jay F. Rosenberg.
