Interactive Web Physics (iwp) Problems. These interactive problems will be assigned and changed periodically, so you will be given specific instructions on when and which problems to work. If you want to explore some of them to see what they are like, please feel free to do so. The following sample problem set was written by Taylor Brockman at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.

ESPN
has a series of videotapes that teaches physics principles through the
use of sports (and of course famous sports performers because they know
physics better than anyone?). This fall 1999 ESPN will have an interactive
online version. Play ball!
An
online version of the panoramic wall timeline of the Century of Physics
hanging in our classroom. If this online stuff keeps up, there may
soon be an online physics teacher and I can just stay home!
The Mississippi River changing length from 1,300,000 miles to 1.75 miles.

Hate bad science in movies? Would you like to know the details of
the bad science that constantly bombards an ignorant population?
Would you like to NOT be one of the ignorant population?
NANOTECHNOLOGY
- Have you read the book Fantastic Voyage? The manufacture
of machines tiny enough to flow through a person's blood veins and do work
such as clearing partially clogged arteries may be feasible in our lifetimes!
You
can figure out what this is about.
PHYSICS
LIMERICKS. Just to give you a taste, below is one of my favorites
from this site.
Miss Farad was pretty and sensual
And charged to a reckless potential;
But a rascal named Ohm
Conducted her home -
Her decline was, alas, exponential.
PHYSICS
HUMOR. Something to laugh at after you get your next test.
